Yankee Pot Roast

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 4 cups large carrots cubed or 2baby carrots
  • 5 medium potatoes quartered
  • 2 two medium onions quartered
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 package brown gravy mix

Instructions
 

  • Place beef, bay leaf, garlic and onions in crock pot with 6 cups water. Cook on high for 8 hours. Boil potatoes and carrots until tender.
  • Remove Beef and onions from crock pot. Use broth in crock pot to make brown gravy.
  • Slice beef with very sharp knife, but don’t be surprised if it just falls apart.
