Bourbon Ham Glaze
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Bourbon
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Pour bourbon into a small sauce pan and reduce to about half.
- Add honey and light brown sugar. Stir until blended. Remove from heat.
- Use a paint brush to cover ham before cooking. Halfway through cooking, paint a second coat.
- Heat the glaze again and add dark brown sugar. This should make the glaze very thick and hard to stir.
- Once ham is cooked, take it out of the oven. Using a spoon or knife, coat the top of the ham. Put the ham under the broiler to crisp.
