Yankee Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 4 cups large carrots cubed or 2baby carrots
- 5 medium potatoes quartered
- 2 two medium onions quartered
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 package brown gravy mix
Instructions
- Place beef, bay leaf, garlic and onions in crock pot with 6 cups water. Cook on high for 8 hours. Boil potatoes and carrots until tender.
- Remove Beef and onions from crock pot. Use broth in crock pot to make brown gravy.
- Slice beef with very sharp knife, but don’t be surprised if it just falls apart.
